AccessApps is the original (and still most popular) software collection within EduApps. It consists of over 60 open source and freeware Windows applications which run from a USB stick.
AccessApps provides a range of solutions to support writing, reading and planning as well as sensory, cognitive and physical difficulties. AccessApps also includes some nifty programmes that can provide assistance if you need it, for example making a keyboard or mouse easier to use.
There are apps to help you change the background colour of your computer screen to make things easier to read, or you can listen to words and sentences read back as you type. There’s even an app to save text to MP3 which can be used for listening to handouts, notes and revision material. And, if you’d like to improve your typing skills, AccessApps has a great typing tutor to speed up your typing. AccessApps is an inclusive learning tool for all learners.
